Sinus Lift
Sinus Lift

What is it?

Bone is added to the upper jaw near the molars and premolars to create enough bone to support a dental implant. Two techniques are used depending on each patient's anatomy: a minimally invasive crestal lift accessed from within the mouth, or, when more bone is needed, a lateral lift that opens a small window at the side of the sinus.

Who is it for?

Patients considering dental implants who don't have enough bone height in the upper jaw near the sinuses to support one securely.

Benefits
- Creates sufficient bone to support implant placement
- Crestal technique is less invasive for suitable cases
- Implant placement may be possible during the same procedure in some cases
- Treatment is tailored to your clinical needs

Early Orthodontic Treatment
Early Orthodontic Treatment

What is it?

Interceptive braces and other early orthodontic solutions are used to guide jaw and tooth development while a child's bone is still soft and flexible, most effectively between ages 7 and 10. This approach addresses alignment issues while they're still developing rather than waiting for permanent teeth to fully come in.

Who is it for?

Children with early signs of overcrowding, spacing issues, crossbites, underbites, overbites, protruding front teeth, or habits like thumb sucking, ideally assessed by age 7 as recommended by the Australian Society of Orthodontists.

Benefits
- Helps guide jaw and tooth development
- May reduce the complexity of future orthodontic treatment
- Can address bite and alignment concerns during growth
- May help manage habits such as thumb sucking
LEARN MORE
Orthodontics
Orthodontics

What is it?

Treatment is planned around long-term stability, facial harmony and how the bite affects the airway, not just short-term alignment, with every decision made in partnership with the patient or their parent.

Who is it for?

Children from around age 8, when early signs like crowding or crossbites can still be guided, through to adults dealing with shifting teeth or bite discomfort.

Benefits
- Tailored to every stage of life
- Encourages balanced jaw and facial growth in kids
- May improve chewing function and dental alignment where clinically appropriate.
- Backed by evidence-based planning

KEEPING THINGS SIMPLE FROM START TO FINISH

Our goal is to keep each patient's smile in maximum health, with an emphasis on prevention. It's better to catch issues early, while they're easy to solve, than let major dental work sneak up on you. Whenever we find a problem, we'll help you find a long-term solution so the issue doesn't come back.

If you need complex restorative treatments, our highly skilled dentists are here to help. Many of our patients are older or first-generation Australians who come to us with a range of oral health concerns, some of which are severe.

Our experienced dentists are trained to provide therapies, such as:

Full Mouth Implants
Dental implants
Checkup and cleanings
Root canals
Same-day crowns

There's unlimited street parking right outside. Our clean, professional clinic is easy access for everyone. We're ADA certified, and everything has been recently renovated for a smooth office experience.

We are Members' choice providers for Medibank and preferred providers of Medibank, nib, BUPA and CBHS.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a preferred provider for any health funds?

Yes. We're a Members' Choice provider for Medibank and a preferred provider for Medibank, nib, BUPA and CBHS, and we accept all health funds. Eligible benefits are processed immediately on-site through our in-house HICAPS machine.

Do you offer emergency or same-day appointments?

Yes. We hold appointments open every day for dental emergencies. If you're in pain or dealing with a broken tooth, lost filling or similar, call us straightaway and we'll do everything we can to see you and address the problem on the same day.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency after hours?

For non-urgent issues outside our opening hours, call (02) 9868 6288 and leave a detailed voicemail, or send us a message through the website; we'll respond the next business day. For an urgent problem while we're closed, full instructions are on our Important Patient Information page. For a serious emergency specifically, such as uncontrolled bleeding, facial trauma, or difficulty breathing or swallowing, go to your nearest hospital emergency department straightaway.

Do you treat children, and from what age?

Yes. We typically see children from the moment their first teeth erupt, so we can check everything's coming in as it should and show parents how to care for those first teeth. As they grow, we keep visits fun and low-stress so kids build good habits and confidence at the dentist, for life.

Do you offer payment plans or financing options?

We accept all health funds, Medicare (CDBS), cash, debit cards, bank transfers, and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard, not American Express; a 1% surcharge applies to card and digital payments), with eligible health fund benefits processed on the spot. If you'd like to discuss a payment plan for a larger treatment, get in touch with our team directly and we can talk through your options.

What should new patients expect at their first visit?

Your first visit takes about half an hour. You'll fill out intake forms (paper or iPad), then be seen for a thorough exam, X-rays if needed, and a clean. We'll discuss any concerns you have during your appointment, and you'll go home with a free patient pack. Bring along your Medicare or health fund card if you have one.

What sedation options do you offer for anxious patients?

We offer local anaesthetic for routine treatment, and for procedures such as wisdom tooth extraction, patients who feel anxious may be suitable for sedation, depending on the treatment being provided. The appropriate option will be discussed at your consultation. The right option for you will be discussed at your consultation.

How often should I have a checkup and clean?

We recommend a checkup and clean every six months for most patients. Regular visits let us catch small issues, like early decay or gum disease, while they're still simple and easier to treat, rather than waiting for a bigger problem to develop.
